第24期《求是》雜志發(fā)表中共中央總書(shū)記、國(guó)家主席、中央軍委主席習(xí)近平的重要文章《推動(dòng)形成優(yōu)勢(shì)互補(bǔ)高質(zhì)量發(fā)展的區(qū)域經(jīng)濟(jì)布局》。文章強(qiáng)調(diào)，要發(fā)揮各地區(qū)比較優(yōu)勢(shì)，走優(yōu)化發(fā)展的路子，落實(shí)主體功能區(qū)戰(zhàn)略。

An article by President Xi Jinping on promoting regional economic planning featuring complementary advantages and high-quality development was published in the 24th issue of the Qiushi Journal this year. In the article, Xi, also general secretary of the Communist Party of China Central Committee and chairman of the Central Military Commission, said that the planning of regional development should give play to each region's respective strength in pursuing optimal development. The structure of economic development is undergoing profound changes, with central cities and city clusters becoming the major vessels for development. Policy framework for regional development should be improved to adapt to the new circumstances. Efforts should be made to reinforce the economic and population-carrying capacity of central cities, city clusters and advantaged areas for economic development, and strengthen other areas' functions for guaranteeing food and ecological security and the safety of border areas.
