今天我們要學(xué)的詞是 clarion.

Clarion 是指中世紀(jì)時(shí)期的一種銅號(hào)，因在戰(zhàn)場(chǎng)上使用而引申為號(hào)角的意思。 Clarion常與call連用，意思是號(hào)召： Nobel laureates and experts, in a clarion call on Sunday, urged governments to promote active aging to ease the burden on social security systems. 諾貝爾獎(jiǎng)得主和專家們星期日發(fā)出號(hào)召，呼吁政府推動(dòng)積極老齡化，以減輕社會(huì)保障體系的負(fù)擔(dān)。
