The conversation started with the women discussing the American Idol winner’s first Halloween in New York as a mother since her daytime television show made the move from Universal City Studios in Los Angeles to 30 Rockefeller Plaza.

Turning to look at the picture, Bush Hager blurted, "We were chubby." The “Since U Been Gone” hitmaker immediately denied the statement, adding, "You were not."

Following the rebuttal, the twins clarified that they weren’t chubby in that specific photo, but they were at other points in their lives.

“I don’t think you know what chubby is,” Clarkson said.

The Today with Hoda & Jenna co-host asked her sister if she was chubby and Bush replied, “No.” The Grammy winner interjected, saying, “You can’t ask somebody that! She’s not gonna be like, ‘You were a chub club.' ”
