After three weeks'fighting between people who support and oppose Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi, other world leaders are calling the situation in Libya,a civic war.Rivals have taken control of several cities that Libyan armies have forced to regain some of those cities.Officials estimated more than a thousand people have died in the violence. They were reported yesterday. The crueler Gaddafi was negotiating with the rival leaders say he would step down if they can promise that he be able to leave the country safely in that he and his families would not be put on trial. But later on,both sides denied these reports. Some rival leaders said the negotiation never happened and the government spokesman called the report wise. The international community's trying to find ways to end violence in Libya. One suggestion is no fly-zone over the country. What that would mean is that no military planes could fly over Libya without permission.United Nations Security Council is talking about it and the idea has a lot of supporters from countries in the mild-east.NATO,the north Atlantic trade organization is already running around the clock surveillance flight over Libya.
In neighboring Egypt, about thousand people showed up for a pro-women demonstration yesterday.Women were a major pro-part of the protest that forced former Hosni Mubarak out of power from Egypt last month. But this protest turned into a shouting match when a group of man started yelling a anti- feminist chance like go home that where you belong. There were men on both sides of those protests. The people who organize the women's march said they were demanding fair and equal opportunity for all Egyptian citizens beyond gender, religion or class.
Secretary of State Hillary Ciliton made the a similar point at the Commemorative of the 100th anniversary of the International Women's Day.When referring to the political unrest in the mild-east and north Africa we have seen lately, secretary Cilition said women have just as much rights as men have to remake their governments. She and the first lady Michelle Obama on her ten women with the international women of courage world.Secretary Cilition said the women's courage comes from putting others' well being before their own and Mrs.Obama sent the awards and sent messages to the women that you are never alone in your struggle.
