當(dāng)我們談?wù)撃橙嘶蚰呈鹿止值臅r(shí)，有一個(gè)最恰當(dāng)?shù)挠⒄Z(yǔ)單詞：weird，怪怪的，它可以用來(lái)形容一個(gè)人，也可以描述一件事有些蹊蹺。

Jason is acting weird today, what's wrong with him? 杰桑今天怪怪的，他怎么了?

Tony is a little weird, be careful when you're talking to him.　托尼這人有點(diǎn)怪，和他談話(huà)時(shí)要小心點(diǎn)。

The atmosphere here is weird, what's going on?這里的氣氛有點(diǎn)怪，發(fā)生什么事了?

Carrie is weird about her hair.凱麗對(duì)她的頭發(fā)過(guò)度緊張。

下面，要介紹一個(gè)很活用的口語(yǔ)表達(dá)法：Here's the thing，意思是"是這樣的，事情是這樣的，問(wèn)題是"：

Here's the thing, even if I could get it together enough to ask a woman out,

whom am I going to ask?　問(wèn)題是，即便我鼓足勇氣去邀請(qǐng)某個(gè)女人，我又該去邀請(qǐng)誰(shuí)呢?

Here's the thing, I don't have anything to wear for the party.　問(wèn)題是，我沒(méi)有去參加派隊(duì)穿的衣服啊。

You know, here's the thing, there's nothing available in the kitchen.　你知道嗎，問(wèn)題是廚房里什么吃的都沒(méi)有。

Here's the thing, I offer you 20% discount, your payment will be made within 10 days.　這樣吧，我給你20%的折扣，你要在10天內(nèi)付款。

Here's the thing, I give you 5 more days to think about it.　這樣吧，我再給你5天時(shí)間考慮。
