中考英語詞匯必備攻略：常考詞考點透徹分析 第四講
考點1：當即使講，假設關系，同even though/though. Eg：She'll be coming tonight, although I don't know exactly when.
考點2：當盡管講，讓步關系。Eg：She walked home by herself, although she knew that it was dangerous.

通常情況下我們不強調區(qū)分假設關系和讓步關系，但有時必須要區(qū)分的時候，假設關系的意思是事情還未發(fā)生做出的條件性假設，而讓步關系的意思是事情已經發(fā)生后做出的讓步或轉折。
Among 介詞：在。。其中，被。。。圍繞
考點1：在。。其中。Eg：A British woman was among the survivors.
考點2：被。。。圍繞。Eg：a village among hills

Among和between的區(qū)別在于：1.among用于三者或三者以上，而between用于二者之間。
2.between在某些時候也能用于三者以上，但強調的是每兩個之間的關系。
And 連詞：和，并且，然后。
考點1：當和來講，并列。注意：在完型中and有其非常重要的作用，and前后的詞或句，要么是近義關系，要么是反義關系。比如：love and respect，joy and sorrow，hope and fear。了解到這一點，會極大的促進做題。
考點2：然后，表順承。如在祈使句中，work hard，and you will succeed.

Angry 形容詞：生氣的，憤怒的。
考點1：be angry with sb at/about Eg: Please don't be angry with me. It wasn't my fault.
考點2：be angry at sb for sth 因某事生某人的氣. Eg: I was angry with myself for making such a stupid mistake. 我因為犯了這麼愚蠢的錯誤而在生自己的氣.
Another 形容詞，代詞：別的，另外的。
考點1：代詞，表再一個 ，另一個。Eg: I don't like this room let's ask for another.
考點2：形容詞，又一，再一。Eg：Would you like another cup of tea?

Answer 名詞，動詞：回答，反應，答案。
考點1：名詞，答案，回復。Eg：Who knows the answer to this question? Eg：I rang the bell but there was no answer.
考點2：動詞，回答，反應，回復。Eg：answer the telephone Eg：answer sb's call(相應某人的號召)Eg：He answered my question.

Answer和reply區(qū)別不是很大，主要在于answer比較口語，而reply則更為正式一些。Eg：I sent in my application, and the university replied immediately.

Any 代詞，形容詞：任何的
考點1：形容詞，任何。常用語疑問和否定句中。Eg：Do you know any French? Eg：There was hardly any free time.
考點2：代詞。也常用于疑問和否定句中。

Arm 名詞：臂，扶手。動詞：武裝。
考點1: 手臂。Eg：She held the baby in her arms.

Around 介詞, 副詞：圍繞，環(huán)繞，大約。 形容詞：現存的。
考點1：表大約，同about。Eg：around 100 people ; at around five o'clock
考點2: 四處。Eg：children are playing around on the sand. Eg：I'll send someone to show you around.
考點3：圍繞。Eg：The earth moves around the sun. Eg：The bookstore is just around the corner.
考點4：現存的。Eg：the most intelligent artist around today在世的最有才華的藝術家
