中國(guó)人最易誤解的話第18期:滿眼的胡言亂語(yǔ)

　　Her opinion is all my eye.

　　(誤譯)她的主張也完全是我的觀點(diǎn)。

　　(正譯)她的主張是胡說(shuō)八道。

　　all my eye是英國(guó)俚語(yǔ)，意為“胡說(shuō)八道”，“瞎說(shuō)”，“鬼話”等。應(yīng)注意把a(bǔ)ll my eye與all eyes區(qū)分開(kāi)來(lái)，后者意為“全神貫注地看”。

　　1. nonsense

　　int. 胡說(shuō)!talk nonsense 胡說(shuō)八道 sheer nonsense 一派胡言

　　n.胡說(shuō);廢話 bullshit, kibosh

　　adj.荒謬的 ridiculous, preposterous

　　Nonsense is normal in the Library.

　　荒謬是圖書(shū)館的普遍現(xiàn)象。

　　We do not have time for this kind of nonsense.

　　我們沒(méi)有時(shí)間浪費(fèi)在這種無(wú)聊的事上面。

　　Save the Earth, can you? Nonsense! It is training!

　　2. stuff and nonsense 胡說(shuō)八道

　　That's stuff and nonsense; of course I can juggle with three balls at once!

　　那完全是胡說(shuō)八道，當(dāng)然我能同時(shí)耍3個(gè)球!
