Couples who eat at least two portions of seafood a week have more sex and get pregnant faster, a study found.

一項研究發(fā)現(xiàn),每周至少吃兩份海鮮的夫妻性生活更頻繁,懷孕的速度也更快。

Researchers say the protein-rich food boosts men and women's sex drive and improves the quality of their sperm and eggs.

研究人員稱,富含蛋白質(zhì)的食物能促進(jìn)男性和女性的性欲,提高精子和卵子的質(zhì)量。

Data on 501 couples who were trying to conceive was analyzed by scientists from the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health and published in the Journal of Clinical Endocrinology & Metabolism.

來自哈佛大學(xué)公共衛(wèi)生學(xué)院的科學(xué)家們分析了501對備孕夫婦的數(shù)據(jù),并將數(shù)據(jù)發(fā)表在《臨床內(nèi)分泌與代謝》雜志上。

Couples were 39 percent more likely to have sex on days when they had both eaten seafood, such as fish or oysters.

當(dāng)夫妻雙方都吃海鮮,如魚或牡蠣時,他們白天做愛的機率要高出39%。

And those who ate at least two portions a week romped an average of eight times per month, compared to just six times for those who ate less.

每周至少吃兩份海鮮的人平均每個月有8次性生活,而那些海鮮吃得少的人每月只有六次性生活。

Some 92 percent of the frequent seafood eaters had gotten pregnant within one year. But only 79 percent of the other group had conceived.

經(jīng)常食用海鮮的人中有大約92%的人在一年內(nèi)就懷孕。但對照組中只有79%的人懷孕了。

Study leader Dr. Audrey Gaskins said: "It suggests both partners should be incorporating more seafood into their diets for the maximum fertility benefit."
