A: Before musicians like you said used to wear ripped jeans. Jeans with big holes or rips in them.
 
你之前說(shuō)過(guò)，以前的音樂(lè)人喜歡穿破洞牛仔褲。就是那種有破洞的牛仔褲。
 
B: Oh, yeah, that was in the 80's.
 
對(duì)，那是上世紀(jì)80年代的事了。
 
A: OK, maybe that was my generation. So that's not popular anymore?
 
那可能是我的年代。那現(xiàn)在破洞牛仔褲不再流行了嗎？
 
B: Some people like to wear ripped jeans, yeah, still, but mainly the rips are quite neat, so they're usually ripped a little bit around the pockets or around the cuffs, you know the bottoms, Yeah
 
現(xiàn)在也還有人喜歡穿破洞牛仔褲，不過(guò)大部分破洞很整齊，一般破洞的位置在褲兜和褲腳附近。
 
A: OK, yeah. That sounds like designer jeans. Maybe then like.... are they specifically made just for that style?
 
好。聽(tīng)起來(lái)像設(shè)計(jì)師品牌的牛仔褲。也許……那是刻意做出這種樣式的嗎？
 
B: Well, yeah. Actually, quite often the jeans you buy in the store are already ripped or already worn so they look like they're old but they are brand new.
 
對(duì)。實(shí)際上，你在商場(chǎng)里買的破洞牛仔褲都會(huì)做舊，看起來(lái)像舊的，但其實(shí)是新的。
 
A: But designer jeans can be really expensive, right?

B: Oh, they can be very expensive but people are willing to pay the money because they're designer jeans. They're cool.

A: Well, how much do you pay for jeans?

B: I can pay up to 120 Euros for jeans.

A: A hundred and twenty Euros.

B: Yeah.

A: That's a lot of money.

B: It's a lot of money, yeah, especially because I'm a student but I'm willing to put the money into it if the jeans fit very well.
 
的確是很多錢，尤其我還是個(gè)學(xué)生，不過(guò)如果合身的話，我愿意在牛仔褲上花錢。
 
A: Just, lastly about jeans, these days there's many different colors. You have the light blue jeans, or the darker blue jeans. Which colors do you like to wear?
 
最后一個(gè)有關(guān)牛仔褲的問(wèn)題，最近的牛仔褲有很多顏色。有淺藍(lán)色牛仔褲，深藍(lán)色牛仔褲。你喜歡穿哪種顏色的牛仔褲？
 
B: That depends on the time of the year actually. In the summer I like to wear light blue jeans and then in the winter I sometimes wear black jeans or really dark blue jeans.

A: Oh, that's interesting. So you change the color by season?

B: Yeah, generally I think I wear more darker clothes in the winter.

A: Well, just off hand, how many jeans do you think you have? How many pairs do you have at home?

B: I think I have about eight or nine pairs.

A: That's a lot.

B: That's a lot but actually, I use only two pairs of them.

A: Your favorites?

B: Yeah, my favorite jeans. And they're baggy.
