Ann: Do you think that physical punishment should be allowed?

你認(rèn)為體罰應(yīng)該被允許嗎?

Lily: No, I don’t think so. Physical punishment should be forbidden and it is a crime.

不，我不這么認(rèn)為，體罰應(yīng)該被禁止，這是種犯罪。

Ann: I agree. But there are many teachers loving physical punishment and they believe the more severe punishment the better.

我同意，但是還是有許多老師喜歡體罰，他們相信越是嚴(yán)厲的懲罰越好。

Lily: I heard that some old teachers loved to beat the palm of students if they did anything wrong.

我聽(tīng)說(shuō)一些老教師喜歡打?qū)W生的手心，如果他們犯錯(cuò)了的話。

Ann: What I should say is that not always old teachers like to do like. More and more reports that young teachers who love to punish children physically were put out to the public.

我想說(shuō)的是，不是所有老教師都喜歡那么做，現(xiàn)在越來(lái)越多的報(bào)告關(guān)于年輕老師喜歡體罰學(xué)生都被報(bào)道出來(lái)。

Lily: Oh? I had never heard about that.

哦?我都沒(méi)聽(tīng)說(shuō)過(guò)。

Ann: A young woman teacher who punished three pupils to stand naked in the front of whole class was reported on the Internet.

一個(gè)年輕的女老師體罰三個(gè)小學(xué)生在全班同學(xué)面前裸站，在網(wǎng)上被報(bào)道出來(lái)了。

Lily: Such a damn woman. How did the education department decide to punish this teacher?

真是個(gè)該死的女人，那教育部決定怎么處罰這個(gè)老師了嗎?

Ann: She isn’t allowed to apply any job related to educational business.

她不被允許申請(qǐng)任何與教育事業(yè)有關(guān)的工作。

Lily: She deserved this punishment.

這是她應(yīng)得的。
