口語中,如果一個單詞中的/n/之后緊跟著一個輔音,這個輔音一般會受到/n/的影如:
winter/?w?nt?/冬季,/t/受到/n/的影響不發(fā)音,讀作/?w?n?/,與winner的發(fā)音剛好相同;
Internet/'?nt?:net/網(wǎng)絡(luò),/t/受到/n/的影響不發(fā)音,讀為/'?nt?:ne/;
twenty/'twent?/二十,/n/后面的/t/不發(fā)音,讀作/'twen?/;
我們可以將/n/看作是一個“消音器”,輔音只要出現(xiàn)在它后面,就休想再出聲。
