C: I've been doing yoga for 2 months.
M: How is it?
C: Marvelous! It's fun! And I especially enjoy the headstands and handstands.
M: it cannot be an easy thing, right?
C: Sure, the first few classes were tough, but I stuck with it.
M: You must be used to it now.
C: Yeah. Now I do it every day. Yoga is beneficial to physical heath, as well as to mental health.
M: I wonder whether it will be too difficult for a beginner like me?
C: Don't worry. Just begin with the beginners class.
M: That's great. I will have a try.

2.make it 此處連接為/'m??k?t/。
3.I've 是 I have 的口語說法??谡Z中常把兩個(gè)詞合并為一個(gè)詞的發(fā)音,即縮音現(xiàn)象。
4.口語中,do 的/?/與 it 的/?/連讀,中音加輔助音/w/,且詞尾/t/消音,連讀為/d?w?/。
5.口語中語速很快時(shí),to/tu:/常弱化為/t?/或/t?/。

虛詞to的弱讀式與強(qiáng)讀式
在英語中,單音節(jié)虛詞有弱讀式和強(qiáng)讀式兩種發(fā)音方式。弱讀式(weak form)是較輕的發(fā)音,強(qiáng)讀式(strong form)是較重的發(fā)音。作為一種結(jié)構(gòu)詞,虛詞大多弱讀。但有時(shí)為了強(qiáng)調(diào)和對(duì)比也會(huì)采取強(qiáng)讀形式。 to強(qiáng)讀為/tu:/,弱讀為/t?/或/t?/。如:
Yoga is beneficial to/t?/ physical heath, as well as to mental health.
瑜伽對(duì)身體和精神健康都有好處。
They stand back to/t?/ back.
他們背對(duì)背站著。
He is walking to/tu:/and fro in the room.
他在房間內(nèi)踱來踱去。
