　　Mary想買一條適合出席晚宴穿的裙子，通過在專賣店挑選和試穿后，最后買了一件很時髦的的裙子。

　　(以下s代表Salesman.M代表Mary)

　　S: Can I show you anything, miss?

　　M: I'd like to see a new skirt for the party.

　　S：Here are some latest styles. How do you like this one?

　　M: I like this style, but the color doesn't fit me.

　　S：What about this one? Its design is fashionable and attractive.

　　M: It looks well. But I don't like nylon, I like pure cotton. Oh, I have an eye on that long white skirt.

　　S: You have a good taste. This kind of stylish dress sells well.

　　M: Can I try it on?

　　S: Of course.This way, please.

　　(After Mary tries it on)

　　S: Wonderful! It looks just good on you. It will make you look perfect in the party.

　　M: Very good. I'II take this one.

　　英語筆記

　　1.口語中此句常讀為/a?d??nt'la?k/。

　　2.have an eye on sth. 意思是“喜歡某物，看上某物”。

　　3.it 的/?/被省略，it與on連讀，try it on的發(fā)音為/tra? t?n/。

　　英語語音語調

　　I don't like…

　　你聽到的don't like讀成/d??nt'la?k/?？谡Z中當詞尾是t,下一個詞詞首是輔音時，/t/會弱化到幾乎聽不到。只能聽到中間的停頓或是很輕的發(fā)音，接近于do like，但是結合語境，不會造成誤解，所以/t/就被省略了。類似的情況有很多，比如：

　　I didn't watch /d?dn?w?t?/ yesterday's football game.

　　我沒有看昨天的球賽。

　　I can't tell /kæn?tel/ you the secret.

　　我不能告訴你這個秘密。
