Opening an L/C

Dialogue 1

-Hello!Is this Bank of China?This is Sam Oven speaking,could you help me?

-Hold on,please.I'll call the person to talk with you.

-Hello.Can I help you?

-Hello.this is Sam Oven.I want to open a Letter of Credit.

-Oh,what kinds of credit do you want to open?

-What are the kinds of Letter of Credit?

-There are several ways of division.For example,we may divide Letter of Credit into documentary Credit and clean Credit according to whether it is attached to shipping documents or not.And the former one is frequently used in international trade.

-International trade?OK,now on mentioning L/C hereinafter,we refer to documentary credit.

-Certainly.And all credit must state whether they are irrevocable or revocalbe.The irrevocable L/C could not be modified or cancelled within its validity term unless the consumed parties of the L/C are unanimously agreed to do so.

-Oh,I think the irrevocable L/C is more suitable for me.Could you help me to open it?

-Sure,will you come over here?I'll open it for you.

-Yes,but this time we want the bill of lading be signed by means of chop instead of the usual manual signature.
