高中英語作文：Object to Build a Chemical Works Near School反對在學(xué)校附近建化工廠
Most students of our school， including me， think it is not right to build a chemical works near our school.Although the works will make a lot of money for our city， we do think it will do us more harm than good.The drinking water will be badly polluted.Of course， they have promised to do something to prevent the water from being polluted.But it is far from enough.On the other hand， the air over the city will be polluted， too.We'll never be able to breathe the fresh air.How can we live here any longer？What's more， the site of the chemical works has been the only place where we students play games and have sports after school.If it is occupied， we will have no place to play in.
我們學(xué)校的大部分學(xué)生，包括我，都覺得在學(xué)校附近建化工廠是不對的。盡管這樣會給我們城市帶來很多錢，但是我們要考慮到它給我們帶來的損失會比好處多。飲用水會被嚴(yán)重的污染。當(dāng)然，他們會承諾采取措施來保護(hù)水污染。但是這是遠(yuǎn)遠(yuǎn)不夠的。從另一方面來說，城市里的空氣也會被污染。我們再也不能夠呼吸到新鮮的空氣了。我們還能在這里住多久呢？此外，化工廠所要建的地方是我們學(xué)生放學(xué)后唯一可以玩游戲，做運動的地方。如果這個地方被占用了，我們將沒有地方玩了。
