Sample answer:
The ling chart apparently depicts the sales volume of different book categories involving children’s book, adults’ fiction and educational book from 2002 to 2006.
Generally speaking, there are three different trends in this graph: increasing trend, decreasing trend and stable trend.
Specifically, the sales of children’s book represented the continuously increasing trend during this time period from nearly 33 million dollars in 2002 to over 55 million dollars in 2006. Within this period of time, its data surpassed which of adults’ fiction in 2003 (40 million).
By contrast, even though there was a slight rebound appeared from 2003 (35 million) to 2004 (40 million), the figure of adults’ fiction illustrated consecutively decreasing trend at the whole. Due to this four-year change, its sales volume fell to the last place of 30 million in 2006 from the first (45 million in 2002) of these three categories.
The sales of educational book approximately had no significant change, its data fluctuated between 25 million (2002 and 2005) and 33 million (2006) throughout this time period, which remained at the lowest level among this three types until it transcended that of adults’ fiction in 2006.
