是否限制購車？

Beijing has placed strict restriction on the number of newly purchased cars in the city and the policy has sparked heated discussion. Some people support the policy, saying it’s a powerful method to cope with the severe traffic congestion in the capital. With cars increasing drastically in the past few years, severe traffic jams occur not only in rush hours but at any time of the day now.

北京對市內(nèi)新購車輛數(shù)量實施了嚴格限制，該政策引發(fā)了熱烈討論。一些人支持這項政策，認為它是應(yīng)對首都嚴重交通擁堵的有效方法。近幾年來，汽車數(shù)量急劇增加，現(xiàn)在不僅高峰時段會出現(xiàn)嚴重交通擁堵，而且一天中的任何時間都可能發(fā)生。

Others, however, someone strongly against the limitations. They argue that the great number of official cars, which are frequently used, is a big factor causing traffic congestion. But the policy mainly aims at private cars and has no dear restrictions on the use of official cars. Besides, car purchase limitation would hinder the development of China's automobile industry, and more people would lose their jobs as a result.

然而，也有人強烈反對這些限制。他們認為，大量頻繁使用的公務(wù)車是造成交通擁堵的一個重要因素。但這項政策主要針對私家車，對公務(wù)車的使用并沒有嚴格的限制。此外，限制購車會阻礙中國汽車工業(yè)的發(fā)展，并因此導(dǎo)致更多人失業(yè)。

Personally, I think the restriction of buying and use of cars, official cars included, is inevitable and just a matter of time for Beijing. If the number of cars is not limited, there will be a huge disaster for the environment, road resources, the travel demands of normal people and the improvement of living standards.

就我個人而言，我認為北京對包括公務(wù)車在內(nèi)的汽車購買和使用的限制是不可避免的，只是時間問題。如果不限制汽車數(shù)量，將對環(huán)境、道路資源、普通人的出行需求和生活水平的提高造成巨大災(zāi)難。
