Nowadays fake commodities have flooded almost every inch of the market. Wherever you are, whatever you do, it seems that you can hardly have fallen prey to them. In other words, it is highly probable that you have bought some of those fake goods or products of inferior quality。 Needless to say, fake commodities have already done great harm to our society. On the one hand, they will ruin the good reputation of genuine products and disturb the balance of the market. On the other hand, the prevalence of such products has hindered interpersonal relationship and resulted in the decline of public morality. As a consequence,they have wasted exhaustible resources, endangered people’s precious life and health, and in the long run eroded public trust。 Then, what should be done to do away with fakecommodities? To start with, the government needs to tighten its inspectionprogram and strengthen its enforcement policies. Secondly, honest businessmenshould modify some long-accepted practices at the protection of theirintellectual property right. Most important of all, we consumers will have todo a better job of learning how to distinguish between the genuine and thephoney and definitely say no to the fake ones. In one word, the coordinatedeffort of the whole society will put an end to fake commodities.

Knowledge and Diploma
1、目前社會(huì)上存在這樣一種說法:文憑越高越吃香;
2、而有些人則認(rèn)為文憑不等于知識;你的觀點(diǎn)。
Knowledge and Diploma
It is generally believed that a high diplomaguarantees a promising future. Some people identify high diplomas with profoundknowledge and exceptional competence. Companies also tend to emphasize theacademic achievement of a job candidate. Like it or not, there does exist asocial reality – the higher diplomas one gets, the more popular he becomes.
On the contrary, other people claim that a highdiploma doesn’t automatically translate into knowledge. A diploma, in theireyes, is only the acknowledgment of one’s educational experience rather than aguarantee of one’s ability. Therefore, we can never measure the depth of one’sknowledge by the grade of one’s diploma. Besides, many knowledgeable peopledon’t have a high diploma. Take Bill Gates for example. His dropping out ofcollege cannot deny the fact that he is one of the world’s most learned men. So I must say no one should ever equate adiploma with knowledge, because a diploma is nothing but a proof of ashort-term study while genuine knowledge needs one’s lifelong devotion.

2、對于這種現(xiàn)象,你有什么看法?
College Students’Living Condition Recently, the living condition of some college students is frequently referred to as “dwelling-narrowness”. In fact, this embarrassing situation is very serious that few of us can fail to meditate on the causes of it.In the first place, it’s difficult for graduates to bear the high cost of life in big cities. Poor payment thus gives rise to bad living conditions. Next, college students are more ambitious. Many of them are eager to compete in big cities like Shanghai and Beijing, where talents are abundant and positions are limited. Refusing to go back hometown let them suffer in big cities, which indirectly make their situation worse.Generally speaking, college students should be more qualified to better themselves and adjust their goals according to the reality.
