Living between grey mist and setting sun,

家住蒼煙落照間，

I’m freed from all worldly cares one by one.

絲毫塵事不相關(guān)。

Drunk, I’ll pass through

Groves of bamboo;

斟殘玉薤行穿竹，

Books read, I would lie still

To contemplate the hill.

卷罷黃庭臥看山。

Why proud and bold?

貪嘯傲，

Let me grow old

任衰殘，

And wear, wherever I go, a smiling face!

不妨隨處一開(kāi)顏，

Don’t you know the Creator has the grace

元知造物心腸別，

To level heroes down to commonplace?

老卻英雄似等閑。
