　　To weep is to risk appearing sentimental.

　　To reach out for another is to risk involvement.

　　To expose feelings is to risk rejection.

　　To place your dreams before the crowd is to risk ridicule.

　　To love is to risk not being loved in return.

　　To go forward in the face of overwhelming odds is to risk failure.

　　But risks must be taken because the greatest hazard in life is to risk nothing.

　　The person who risks nothing does nothing, has nothing, is nothing.

　　He may avoid suffering and sorrow, but he cannot learn, feel, change, grow or love.

　　Chained by his certitudes, he is a slave.

　　He has forfeited his freedom.

　　Only a person who takes risks is free.

　　想大笑，可卻要冒會讓自己顯得很傻的風(fēng)險;

　　想接近其他事，可卻要冒會讓自己受牽連的風(fēng)險;

　　但是，冒險是一定要冒的，因為生活中最大的危險的事是不冒任何風(fēng)險。

　　不冒任何風(fēng)險的人將一事無成，一無所有，一無是處。

　　他可以把苦難和辛酸規(guī)避掉，但是他不能從中學(xué)習(xí)、感受、改變、成長和愛。

　　被萬事確定無疑才去干的心態(tài)束縛著，他就是個奴隸，

　　他喪失了自己的自由。

　　只有敢去冒險的人才是自由的。
