To laugh is to risk appearing a fool.

想大笑，可卻要冒會(huì)讓自己顯得很傻的風(fēng)險(xiǎn);

To weep is to risk appearing sentimental.

想哭泣，可卻要冒會(huì)讓人感覺自己很傷感的風(fēng)險(xiǎn);

To reach out for another is to risk involvement.

To expose feelings is to risk rejection.
