姚明喜得千金 榮升"奶爸"

       BEIJING - The wife of Chinese basketball star Yao Ming gave birth to a daughter Friday afternoon at a hospital in Houston, the United States, Yao's agency said.

　　中國籃球明星姚明的經(jīng)紀人公司稱，姚明的妻子葉莉于周五下午在美國休斯敦的一家醫(yī)院誕下一名千金。

　　Yao, who has been sidelined for about a year due to a foot injury, said he wants to thank everybody who cares about his wife, Ye Li, and his daughter during the past several months.

　　由于腳傷退賽近一年的姚明說，他想謝謝在過去幾個月里一直關心他的妻子和女兒的每一個人。

The NBA All-Star center said he hopes the media do not throw the spotlight on his family so that his daughter could grow up like other babies of ordinary families.

　　而作為全明星中鋒的姚明還說，他希望媒體不要將注意力放在他的家庭上面，這樣他的女兒就能像其他普通家庭的寶寶一樣成長。

Yao is expected to come back on court next season.

　　另外，姚明預計會在下個賽季重返賽場。
