我不能摸黑工作
我急切地需要請幾天假，但我知道老板不會同意。我想要是我裝瘋他也許會讓我請幾天假，所以我把自己倒掛在天花板上，發(fā)出古怪的聲音。我的同事問我在干什么。我告訴他，我正裝成個電燈泡，這樣老板會覺得我瘋了而準(zhǔn)我?guī)滋旒佟追昼姾?，老板進來了，他說：“你在干什么？”我告訴他我是個電燈泡。
他說：“你肯定是壓力太大了?；丶倚菹滋彀伞！蔽姨讼聛?，走出了辦公室。當(dāng)我同事跟著我出來時，老板問她：“你準(zhǔn)備到哪里去？”她說，“我不能摸黑工作。”
7 No Work in the Dark
I urgently needed a few days off work， but I knew my boss
would not allow me to take a leave． I thought that maybe if I
acted crazy he would tell me to take a few days off． So I hung
upside down on the ceiling and made funny noises． My co-worker
asked me what I was doing． I told her I was pretending to be a
light bulb so the boss would think I was crazy and give me a
few days off． A few minutes later the boss came in and said，
“What are you doing?” I told him I was a light bulb．
He said：“you are clearly stressed out． Go home and have a rest
for a couple of days．” I jumped down and walked out of the
office． When my co-worker followed me， the boss said to her，
“And where do you think you're going?” She said， “I can't work
in the dark!”
