4. It's not a gun

A man was in a grocery store with his stingy1 friend when two robbers broke in and asked all the people to put up their hands.

As the robbers began searching the boss and other people for money, he felt a nudge2, "Take this," his friend whispered3.

Don't give me a gun, the man whispered back, "I don't want to be a hero."

It's not a gun—it's that twenty-six dollars I owe4 you.

一個男子和他的小氣朋友正在商店時，兩個強(qiáng)盜突然闖進(jìn)來，命令所有人舉起手來。

強(qiáng)盜們開始對商店老板和其他人搜身時，該男子感覺到他朋友推了他一下?！澳弥@個，”朋友低聲說。

“別給我槍，”該男子也壓低聲音回答道，“我可不想做英雄”。

“不是槍，是我欠你的26塊錢”。
