英語幽默笑話：剩女的要求

　　　Bertha was a very pretty girl. Quite a lot of young men wanted to marry her, but she was not satisfied with any of them.

　　One day, one of the young men came to visit her and asked her to become his wife. She answered, "No, John, I won't marry you. I want to marry a man who is famous, who can play music、sing and dance very well, who can tell interesting stories, who does not smoke or drink , who stays at home in the evenings and who stops talking when I'm tired of listening."

　　The young man got up, took his coat and went to the door, but before he left the house, he turned and said to Bertha, "It isn't a man you're looking for. It's a television set."

　　貝蒂是個非常漂亮的女人，很多男人都希望和她結(jié)婚，但她對誰都不滿意。

　　一天，一個男人來拜訪她并向她求婚。她回答道：“不，約翰，我不會答應(yīng)你。我想嫁一個有名、善歌善舞的人。他還要會將有趣的故事，不抽煙不喝酒。晚上會一直在家，當我不想聽他說話時，他會閉嘴。”

　　年輕人起身拿起大衣走向大門，但他離開前，轉(zhuǎn)向貝蒂說：“你想找的并不是一個男人。是一臺電視機。”
