The Central Committee of the Communist Youth League of China and the All-China Youth Federation on Monday decided to award May Fourth Medals to young athletes who participated in the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games in recognition of their outstanding performances.

為表彰我國青少年運(yùn)動(dòng)員的突出貢獻(xiàn)，共青團(tuán)中央、全國青聯(lián)于8月9日作出決定，授予東京奧運(yùn)會(huì)中國代表團(tuán)青年運(yùn)動(dòng)員"中國青年五四獎(jiǎng)?wù)?quot;。

Among those honored are China's women's table tennis team, the men's table tennis team and 39 young athletes, including shooter Yang Qian, swimmer Zhang Yufei and diver Quan Hongchan.

中國女子乒乓球隊(duì)、中國男子乒乓球隊(duì)2個(gè)青年集體、以及射擊運(yùn)動(dòng)員楊倩、游泳運(yùn)動(dòng)員張雨霏、跳水運(yùn)動(dòng)員全紅嬋等39名青年運(yùn)動(dòng)員獲此獎(jiǎng)?wù)隆?/p>

The youth organizations called on young people across the country to learn from Chinese athletes, defy difficulties and improve their skills through hard work.

共青團(tuán)中央、全國青聯(lián)號召全國廣大青少年向中國體育健兒學(xué)習(xí)，學(xué)習(xí)他們不畏艱難、苦練本領(lǐng)的精神。
