日本與歐盟簽自貿(mào)協(xié)議 承諾取消99%關(guān)稅

Japan and the European Union signed a landmark deal last Tuesday that will eliminate nearly all tariffs on products they trade.

上周二，日本和歐盟簽署了一項(xiàng)具有里程碑意義的協(xié)議，將取消雙方貿(mào)易產(chǎn)品近乎全部的關(guān)稅。

The deal eliminates about 99% of the tariffs on Japanese goods sold to the EU.

該協(xié)議取消了日本銷往歐盟商品約99%的關(guān)稅。

Meanwhile, about 94% of the tariffs on European exports to Japan will be lifted, rising to 99% in the future.

同時(shí)，歐盟出口日本商品約94%的關(guān)稅將被取消，這一數(shù)字未來將升至99%。

 

"The EU and Japan showed an undeterred determination to lead the world as flag-bearers for free trade," Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe said at a joint news conference with European Council President Donald Tusk and European Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker.

日本首相安倍晉三在與歐洲理事會(huì)主席唐納德·圖斯克及歐盟委員會(huì)主席讓-克洛德·容克召開的聯(lián)合新聞發(fā)布會(huì)上稱：“歐盟和日本展現(xiàn)出作為自由貿(mào)易旗手引領(lǐng)全球堅(jiān)定不移的決心。”

Tusk praised the deal as "the largest bilateral trade deal ever".

圖斯克稱贊該協(xié)議為“史上最大雙邊貿(mào)易協(xié)議”。

He said the partnership is being strengthened in various other areas, including defense, climate change and human exchanges, and is "sending a clear message" against protectionism.

他表示，日歐正加強(qiáng)在防衛(wèi)、氣候變化、人文交流等其他各領(lǐng)域的合作，發(fā)出對(duì)抗貿(mào)易保護(hù)主義的明確信息
