安倍晉三計劃下周與特朗普會晤

Japanese prime minister Shinzo Abe plans to meet Donald Trump in New York on November 17th, his office said on Thursday.

周四，日本首相安倍晉三(Shinzo Abe)的首相辦公室表示，安倍計劃在11月17日與唐納德•特朗普(Donald Trump)在紐約會晤。

During a 20 minute phone-call with president-elect Trump, the two men agreed on a meeting when Mr Abe is en route to the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) forum meeting in Peru later this month, writes Robin Harding in Tokyo.

在與新當(dāng)選總統(tǒng)特朗普20分鐘的電話會議中，兩人同意在安倍去參加亞太經(jīng)合組織(APEC)論壇會議的路上舉行會晤，這次會議將于本月晚些時候在秘魯召開。

According to the prime minister’s office, Mr Trump said the US-Japan relationship was an “excellent partnership” and he wanted to further strengthen the “special relationship” between the two countries.

按照日本首相辦公室的說法，特朗普表示美日關(guān)系是“極佳的合作關(guān)系”，他希望進(jìn)一步加強(qiáng)兩國間的“特殊關(guān)系”。

Mr Abe in turn told Mr Trump that a strong US-Japan alliance was essential to underpin regional peace and stability.

安倍則回應(yīng)特朗普稱，強(qiáng)大的美日同盟對于支撐地區(qū)和平與穩(wěn)定是必不可少的。

The emollient language attributed to Mr Trump is likely to soothe fears aroused in Japan by his campaign attacks on the country’s trade practices and reliance on the US security umbrella. Officials in Tokyo, who have had little contact with Mr Trump’s team, are eager to find out how his campaign language is likely to translate into policy.

在競選過程中，特朗普曾攻擊日本的對外貿(mào)易及對美國安全保護(hù)傘的依賴。而前述發(fā)自特朗普的和緩措辭，可能會緩解特朗普這些攻擊在日本引發(fā)的恐慌。日本官員此前幾乎從未接觸過特朗普團(tuán)隊，他們急切地想要知道特朗普的競選口號會作為政策實(shí)施的可能性有多大。
