Priscilla Ahn 自幼在賓夕法尼亞州的一個小鎮(zhèn)長大。她從小在學(xué)校、教堂唱詩班唱歌，稍大之后，來到了費城、新澤西、紐約周圍的咖啡廳、音樂俱樂部里繼續(xù)演唱。在決定要搬出西海岸之后，Priscilla 開始在洛杉磯的音樂界確立了自己的地位，她作為 LA's Hotel Café 的臺柱期前，一次偶然的機會讓 Priscilla 得到了一個參加 Joshua Radin 全美巡演的邀請。在2006年，Priscilla 錄制發(fā)行了一張同名EP，正是這張EP為她贏得了一些fans，比如來自 LA's KCRW 的資深DJ Nic Harcourt。Priscilla Ahn 比較有特色的歌曲包括“Rain"和"Dream”，這兩首歌后來也出現(xiàn)在了夢工廠的電影《Disturbia》里。終于在2007年，Priscilla 簽約了Blue Note，同時開始和制作人 Joey Waronker 錄制她的處女專輯。

　　作為一名新人來說，這張專輯應(yīng)該是成功的。它是帶著一種清新的小民謠，套用一位外國朋友的評論，聽這張專輯就像夏天躺在吊床上輕輕搖晃的感覺。
