1. 用want to … 談論計劃和意愿“想要……”

eg:

(1)—Do you want to go to a movie? 你想去看電影嗎?

—Yes, I do. I want to see a comedy. 是的，我想看一場喜劇片。

(2)—Does he want to go to a movie? 他想去看電影嗎?

—No, he doesn’t. 不，他不想去。

(3)—What do you want to do at weekends? 周末你想干什么?

—I want to play tennis. 我想去打網(wǎng)球。

(4)—What do you want to eat for lunch? 你午飯想吃什么?

—I want to eat chicken and tomatoes. 我想吃雞肉和西紅柿。

2. 談論喜好，用“like”，“not like”

eg:

(1)—What kind of movies do you like? 你喜歡什么電影?

—I like action movies and comedies. 我喜歡動作片和喜劇片。

(2)I like romances but I don’t like documentaries.

我喜歡愛情片，但我不喜歡記錄片。

(3)He likes action movies but he doesn’t like romances.

他喜歡動作片，但他不喜歡愛情片。

5. 名詞復數(shù)：

在英語里面，名詞分可數(shù)名詞(countable noun)和不可數(shù)名詞(uncountable noun)，不可數(shù)名詞沒有單復數(shù)之分，用時只當單數(shù)詞用;可數(shù)名詞有單復數(shù)之分，一個的前面要用a或an，eg: a pencil, a basketball, a dictionary, an egg, an ID card，而復數(shù)即兩個或兩個以上的要作相應的變化，情況如下：

(1)特殊詞，特殊變化，需單獨記：

eg:

child→children，man→men，foot→feet，woman→women

tooth→teeth，sheep→sheep，deer→deer

(2)一般的詞在單數(shù)詞后直接+“s”

eg:

book→books，pen→pens，car→cars，map→maps，cartoon→cartoons

(3)以s，x，sh，ch結(jié)尾的詞+“es”

eg:

box→boxes，watch→watches

(4)以輔音字母+y結(jié)尾的名詞去掉“y”，改成“i”，再加“es”

eg:

family→families，comedy→comedies

(5)以f或fe結(jié)尾的詞，先去掉f或fe，改成“v”再加es

eg:

knife→knives，wife→wives，handkerchief→handkerchieves

leave→leaves

名詞復數(shù)的讀音情況如下：

(1)濁輔音后的s讀[z]，如：eggs[egz]

(2)元音后的s也讀[z]，如：cars[ka:z]

(3)加ves的讀[vz]，如：wife→wives[waivz]? knife→knives[vz]

6. 談論電影通常會用到的形容詞：

eg:

(1)scary I think thrillers are scary.

(2)funny Comedies are funny.

(3)exciting Cartoons are exciting.

(4)instructive useful Documentaries are instructive and useful

(5)sad Romances are usually sad.
