1　there be 句型中的be不可用實(shí)義動(dòng)詞have代替，但可用stand （聳立），live（生活，生存），lie （躺，位于），exist （生存），seem （似乎），happen（碰巧）等。

There stands a tower at the top of the hill. 山頂上聳立著一座塔。

Once there lived an old fisherman here. 從前這里住著一個(gè)老漁夫。

6　there be與have 的區(qū)別： there be和have 均可表示“有”。通常情況下，主語(yǔ)擁有或具有用have ，“某處有某人或某物”用there be，表示客觀存在。但如果表示“整體與局部的含有”，或難以判斷是所屬關(guān)系還是存在關(guān)系，用there be和have均可。
