used to do sth. 表示“過去常常做某事”,只表示過去,不可指現(xiàn)在或?qū)?;否定式為didn't use to do sth.,也可用used not to do sth.或usedn't to do sth.,讀作[′ju?snt];一般疑問句,可以把used放在句首,或用助動詞did,反意疑問句的附加問句用did或used。
She used to see him last year. 她去年常見到他。
He used not to live in this city. 他過去不住在這個城市里。
He didn't use to be so thin. 他過去不這么瘦。
