1　clean 指用各種方式“把……打掃干凈，弄干凈”，用得較廣。

We clean the blackboard before class. 我們在上課前擦黑板。

We'll clean the house for the Spring Festival. 我們將打掃房子過春節(jié)。

2　sweep 指用掃帚清掃地面、垃圾等。

The students on duty are sweeping the floor. 值班的學(xué)生在打掃地板。

They were asked to sweep the road after the snowfall. 他們被要求雪后掃路。

3　wipe 通常指用抹布、紙等擦東西。

Mother is wiping the table. 母親在擦桌子。

She wiped the sweat from her face. 她擦掉了臉上的汗水。
