Stewardess: That will be three rows up on the right. It's the window seat. Is this your bag?

Stewardess: Well, it's too big. It might fall down and hurt somebody. Could you place it under the seat in front

Eric: Sure. Would you please help me adjust the air flow? I feel a bit cold.

Stewardess: Yes. You just turn the knob here above you in whichever direction you like. You can shut it off by turning it
tightly to the right. Would you like a blanket?

1.“in front of”和“in the front of”雖然只差一個(gè)定冠詞“the”，但意思卻完全不同。“in front of”表示“在…前面”，指在某事物
的前面，沒(méi)有接觸，而“in the front of”表示“在…前部”，其位置是處在這個(gè)事物之中，只是位置靠前。
2.“shut off”意思是“關(guān)掉，切斷”，可以用來(lái)表示斷水、斷電，關(guān)掉煤氣、電源等。例如：They shut off the gas and electricity in
their house before they set off for vacation.（他們?cè)陔x家去度假前，把煤氣和電都關(guān)掉了。）“shut off”的同義詞有：tum off，
switch off：反義詞有：turn on, switch on。

We will take off immediately. Please be seated. fasten your seat belt. and make sure your seat back is straight up, your tray
table is closed and your carry-on items are securely stowed in the overhead bin or under the seat in front of you.
