The girl would turn her cell phone off
and put it by her photo on the desk every night
before going to bed
女孩每天臨睡前會(huì)先關(guān)掉手機(jī),
然后把它放在寫字臺(tái)自己的相框前
This habit has been with her ever since she bought the phone.
這個(gè)習(xí)慣從她買手機(jī)起就形成了。
The girl had a very close boyfriend.
When they couldn't meet
they would either call or send messages to each other
女孩有個(gè)很要好的男朋友
兩個(gè)人不見面的時(shí)候
就打打電話或發(fā)發(fā)短信
They both liked this type of communication
兩人都喜歡這樣的聯(lián)系方式
One night, the boy really missed the girl.
When he called her, however, the girl's cell phone was off
because she was already asleep.
有一天夜里,男孩很想念女孩
打電話過(guò)去卻已關(guān)機(jī)
因?yàn)榕⒁呀?jīng)睡下了
The next day, the boy asked the girl to leave her cell phone on at night because when he needed to find her and could not he would be worried.
第二天,男孩對(duì)女孩說(shuō):
“以后晚上不要關(guān)機(jī),好嗎?
我想找你的時(shí)候找不到你,心會(huì)不安
From that day forth, the girl began a new habit.
Her cell phone never shut down at night
從那以后
女孩開始了另一種習(xí)慣一整夜都不關(guān)機(jī)。
Because she was afraid
that she might not be able to hear the phone ring in her sleep,
she tried to stay very alert.
因?yàn)楹ε码娫掜憰r(shí)
自己會(huì)因睡得太沉而聽不到
女孩夜夜都很警醒
As days passed, she became thinner and thinner.
Slowly, a gap began to form between them
女孩日漸消瘦。
慢慢地,兩個(gè)人之間開始有了隔閡。
The girl wanted to revive their relationship.
On one night, she called the boy
女孩很想挽回即將分手的局面
便在一個(gè)深夜給男孩打電話
However, what she got was a sweet female voice:
"Sorry, the subscriber you dialed is power off."
回答她的卻是甜美的女聲:
“對(duì)不起,您撥打的電話已關(guān)機(jī)。”
The girl knew that her love had just been turned off
于是女孩知道,她的愛(ài)情也已經(jīng)關(guān)機(jī)
After a long time, the girl has a new love.
No matter how well they got along,
the girl however refused to get married.
不久后,女孩有了另一場(chǎng)愛(ài)情。
雖然兩個(gè)人感情很好,但女孩怎么也不肯嫁。
In the girl's heart, she always remembered that boy's words
and the night when that phone was power off
女孩的心里還是會(huì)想起
原來(lái)那個(gè)男孩的話和那個(gè)關(guān)機(jī)的夜晚。
The girl still kept the habit of leaving her cell phone on all throughout the night, but not expecting that it would ring
女孩還是保持著整夜不關(guān)機(jī)的習(xí)慣,
只是不再期待它會(huì)響起。
One night, the girl got ill. In a moment of fluster,
instead of calling her parents,
she dialed the new boy's cell phone
一天夜里,女孩生病了,
慌亂之中把本想撥給父母的電話撥到了新男友那里。
The boy was already asleep but his cellphone was still on
男孩早已睡下,但手機(jī)還開著。
Later, the girl asked the boy:
Why don't you turn your cell phone off at night?
后來(lái)女孩問(wèn)男孩: “為什么深夜還不關(guān)機(jī)?
The boy answered:
I'm afraid that if you need anything at night
and aren't able to find me, you'll worry.
男孩說(shuō): “我怕你夜里找不到我,會(huì)不安。
The girl finally married the boy.
女孩最終嫁給了這個(gè)男孩。
