連讀是一個(gè)很大的話題，學(xué)習(xí)起來(lái)也很有講究，但是今天咱們先不說(shuō)太多術(shù)語(yǔ)來(lái)讓大家犯困，而是先講一個(gè)有趣的連讀現(xiàn)象。

Crawly: Yeah, it's the stage crew from your last show. They say their paychecks bounced. 是的，是上一場(chǎng)演出的舞臺(tái)工作人員。他們說(shuō)他們的支票跳票了。
Moon: Tell'em I'll call up the bank and make sure they're paid tout de suite. 告訴他們我會(huì)給銀行打電話并且確保他們馬上就能領(lǐng)錢。

原文中的Tell'em = Tell them，因?yàn)檫B讀的原因?qū)懗蒚ell’em

規(guī)則：當(dāng)輔音結(jié)尾的詞跟him, her, them這幾個(gè)詞連讀時(shí)，h和th會(huì)被省掉

 

所以：
Tell them 念成/’tel?m/
Tell him 念成 /’telim/
Tell her 念成 /’tel?r/
