Notes:

1. A guy was carrying a box when he met his friend.

一個(gè)男人遇到他朋友時(shí)正巧拿著一個(gè)盒子。

2. He said，"Guess how many cakes I have in this box."

他說(shuō)：“猜猜我這個(gè)盒子里有幾塊蛋糕。”

問(wèn)“我這個(gè)盒子里有幾塊蛋糕?”應(yīng)該是"Hmv many cakes do I have in this box?"，但由于在本句中是做guess的賓語(yǔ)，由此用陳述句的句式.句末也不用問(wèn)號(hào)。

3. He added, "Guess correctly and I'll give you both of them!"

他又補(bǔ)充說(shuō)：“猜對(duì)的話，我會(huì)把這兩塊都送給你!”
