CNN News: 金特會(huì)后美朝關(guān)系依然緊張

History was made over the summer when the sitting leaders of the United States and North Korea met face to face in the Asian island country of Singapore.

今年夏天，美國和朝鮮現(xiàn)任領(lǐng)導(dǎo)人在亞洲島國新加坡舉行面對(duì)面會(huì)談，這次會(huì)晤創(chuàng)造了歷史。

There were questions before hand about whether the meeting would actually happen and there are questions now about what happens next. The two countries have been rivals since the Korean War broke out in 1950. But on June 12th, almost seven decades later, U.S. President Donald Trump and North Korean Leader Kim Jong-un sat together, dined together, laughed together and made a promise to work together.

會(huì)談舉行前就會(huì)談能否成功舉行存在疑問，而現(xiàn)在外界對(duì)會(huì)談舉行之后的進(jìn)展存在質(zhì)疑。自朝鮮戰(zhàn)爭于1950年爆發(fā)以來，美朝兩國就一直是對(duì)手。但是在今年6月12日，朝鮮戰(zhàn)爭爆發(fā)近70年之后，美國總統(tǒng)唐納德•特朗普和朝鮮領(lǐng)導(dǎo)人金正恩坐在一起、共進(jìn)工作餐、一同歡笑并承諾進(jìn)行合作。

They both signed a statement that said North Korea would commit to eliminating nuclear weapons from the Korean Peninsula and that the U.S. would provide guarantees to North Korea's security. Leaders from around the world from the European Union to Russia to the United Nations said the summit was a positive step toward peace. But critics said there weren't a lot of details laid out about how the promises would be fulfilled and since then tensions have welled up at times between the two countries. Most recently U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo was scheduled to travel to the North Korean capitol of Pyongyang last Friday but the trip was called off. With President Trump saying he felt significant progress wasn't being made toward denuclearization of the Korean Peninsula.

兩國元首共同簽署了一項(xiàng)聲明，聲明表示朝鮮承諾清除朝鮮半島的核武器，而美國將為朝鮮的安全提供保障。從歐盟到俄羅斯再到聯(lián)合國等世界各地的領(lǐng)導(dǎo)人均表示，美朝峰會(huì)是邁向和平的積極一步。但是批評(píng)人士認(rèn)為，就承諾如何實(shí)現(xiàn)來說，并沒有公布太多細(xì)節(jié)信息，而且峰會(huì)之后，朝美兩國的緊張關(guān)系經(jīng)常加劇。美國國務(wù)卿邁克•蓬佩奧原定于上周五前往朝鮮首都平壤，但這一行程被取消了。原因是特朗普總統(tǒng)認(rèn)為朝鮮半島的去核化進(jìn)程沒有取得顯著進(jìn)展。
