stay over 停留，留宿一宿，在外面過(guò)夜

stay over 特別指晚上不住在家里，在外面過(guò)夜，另外，搭乘飛機(jī)時(shí)中轉(zhuǎn)過(guò)程也可以叫做 stay over。

例句：

We'll stay over till he shows up.

我們會(huì)等到他出現(xiàn)的。

I will stay over till your mother comes back.
