　　put aside 暫時放在一邊，忘記，儲蓄（put by）

　　為了達(dá)成其他目的，暫時把眼下的問題、不和諧、差異等放在一邊，表示“暫時擱置……”。另外，還有“儲蓄”的意思。

　　例句：

　　You need to put aside your differences with her.

　　你應(yīng)該和她擱置爭議。

　　We have to put aside our disagreement and face reality.

　　我們不得不先放下爭議，面對現(xiàn)實。

　　I had to put aside my anger about joining a party.

　　在加入派對的問題上，我不得不先舒緩我的情緒。

　　對話：

　　A: We're going to have to put aside our vacation plans.

　　我們要暫時擱置度假的計劃。

　　B: Why? Don't we have enough money?
