　　Rumor has it 聽到了……的傳聞

　　喜歡在別人后面說三道四的人們最常用的表達。表示“傳聞中說……”，在 Rumor has it 后面加主語+動詞的句式就可以了。它與 get wind of 具有相同的含義，也可以用 word 代替 rumor。

　　例句：

　　Rumor has it he's going to quit.

　　聽說他要辭職不干了。

　　Rumor has it the store's going to shut down.

　　聽說這家店要關(guān)門了。

　　Rumor has it you're going back to New York.

　　聽說你要回紐約了。

　　對話：

　　A:Brad and Allison were arguing this morning.

　　拉德和埃里森今天早上吵架了。

　　B: Rumor has it that they might break up.

　　聽說他們可能要分手了。
