take off 脫衣服，飛機(jī)(起飛)，休息，離開(kāi)(leave)

off 表明從本體逐漸脫離。起飛、脫衣服、申請(qǐng)休假等都可以用 take off (to)表示“前往”。

例句：

You'll have to wait until the plane takes off.

你不得不等到飛機(jī)起飛。

Would it be all right if I took a week off starting tomorrow?

我明天開(kāi)始請(qǐng)一個(gè)星期的假可以嗎?

I'd like to take the day off on Friday.

星期五我想請(qǐng)一天的假。
