give in (to)接受(原本反對的事情),服從……屈服,提交(hand in)
在經(jīng)過一番勸說之后,接受原本反對的事情。如果是互相爭吵的狀況,就表示屈服或投降的意思。另外,give in 也可以像 hand in 一樣表示“提交某物”。
