① valuable可作形容詞或名詞。作形容詞時,指珠寶、繪畫等“值錢的,貴重的”,也指發(fā)現(xiàn),意見、信息、時間等“寶貴的,有價值的”;作名詞時,表示“貴重物品”,尤指個人的小件物品,如珠寶等,常用復數(shù)形式。

② valued因由過去分詞轉(zhuǎn)化而來,故含有被動意味,表示“受到尊重/重視的,很受重視的,很有價值的”,可作定語或表語。

④ priceless意為“極其珍貴的,無價的”。
