◎ think可以用作及物動(dòng)詞和不及物動(dòng)詞。
① 用作及物動(dòng)詞,表示“想,思考”。

② 用作及物動(dòng)詞,表示“認(rèn)為”。結(jié)構(gòu)為:
think sb./sth. to be+賓語(yǔ)補(bǔ)足語(yǔ) (to be 可省)
be thought to be+主語(yǔ)補(bǔ)足語(yǔ)
think+that從句
think+it+賓語(yǔ)補(bǔ)足語(yǔ)+不定式或that從句

③ 作及物動(dòng)詞,表示“打算(做某事),想要”,結(jié)構(gòu)為:
think to do sth. (用于肯定句、否定句)
think+that從句
think+what從句
We thought to go on a holiday. 我們本打算去度假的。
I didn't think to meet you here. 我沒(méi)想到在這里見(jiàn)到你。
I can't think what you mean. 我想不出你的意思。
④ 用作不及物動(dòng)詞,表示“想,思考”。
First think,then speak. 先思而后言。
You have to think very quickly. 他應(yīng)該快速思考。
⑤ 表示“考慮,對(duì)……有某種看法”時(shí),think about和think of可換用。
She thinks too much about/of herself. 她過(guò)多地考慮自己。
I don't care what other people think about/of me. 別人對(duì)我有什么想法我不在乎。
I'm thinking about/of buying a bike. 我正在考慮買(mǎi)一輛自行車(chē)。
We have many things to think about/of. 我們有許多事情要考慮。

⑥ 當(dāng)think about表示“回想(過(guò)去的事情)”,“考慮”某事、某計(jì)劃等是否可行時(shí),不可用think of替換。
Don't think about the past any more. 不要再想過(guò)去的事了。
I've thought about it for some time. 這件事我已經(jīng)考慮一段時(shí)間了。
⑦ 當(dāng)think of表示“關(guān)心,想出,想到;想要,打算;記得,想起,想念”時(shí),不可用think about替換。
He is always thinking of others. 他總是替別人著想。
I can not think of a suitable reply. 我想不出一個(gè)合適的回答。
He longed for her return and thought of writing to her. 他盼望她回來(lái),想寫(xiě)信給她。
Could you think of Tom,our old friend?你還記得我們的老朋友湯姆嗎?
⑧ think of…as意為“把……看作,把……認(rèn)為是”。
I think of it as the most important problem. 我認(rèn)為它是最重要的問(wèn)題。
It was thought of as possible. 它被認(rèn)為是可能的。
⑨ think sth. over意為“仔細(xì)考慮”。
You'd better think it over. 你最好認(rèn)真考慮一下這件事。
We have to think the matter over. 我們得仔細(xì)考慮這件事。
⑩ think后的賓語(yǔ)從句如果表示否定意義,要進(jìn)行“否定轉(zhuǎn)移”,即否定主句中的think,肯定從句。要進(jìn)行否定轉(zhuǎn)移的動(dòng)詞還有expect,hope,believe,imagine,suppose等。
I don't think it is necessary. 我認(rèn)為這沒(méi)必要。
I think I don't know you.
I don't think I know you.
我想我不認(rèn)識(shí)你。

我認(rèn)為你不對(duì)。
? 在用英文說(shuō)話或造句時(shí),應(yīng)注意“時(shí)態(tài)遷移”,是指說(shuō)話人在表述的同時(shí)某動(dòng)作已經(jīng)過(guò)去,就要用一般過(guò)去時(shí),這種瞬間的時(shí)間變化,中文往往表達(dá)不出來(lái)。
