542　pleased，pleasing和pleasant

① pleased表示“高興的，滿意的，感到高興的”，指由外部因素引發(fā)人們內(nèi)心的喜悅，只能指人，主語是人。

I am pleased to meet you. 遇見你我很高興。

I am pleased that you've won the match. 你們贏了那場比賽，我非常高興。

② be pleased by側(cè)重于“被動”。

They were pleased by what she said. 聽了她的話，他們非常滿意。

He was easily pleased by flattery. 他經(jīng)不起奉承。

③ be pleased at/about/with意為“對……感到滿意（高興）”，賓語為人時，常用with，賓語為事物時，可用at，about或with，意義相同。

The manager is very pleased with you. 經(jīng)理對你非常滿意。

He wasn't very pleased at/about/with the result. 他對結(jié)果不是很滿意。

I'm very pleased with what he has done. 我對他們做的事感到高興。

④ pleasant通常指天氣、旅行、消息、時間等令人感到高興、愉快、舒適，也指人或其舉止等“招人喜歡的，友好的”。

The cake is pleasant to the taste. 這餅很可口。
