［注解］本句源于伊索寓言《龜兔賽跑》。慢吞吞的烏龜步履穩(wěn)健，贏得了比賽。而快速的兔子卻因?yàn)檩p敵而敗北。
［譯］慢而穩(wěn)，賽必勝。

［注解］指各人有各人的意見，互不一致；有多少人就有多少不同的看法。還可以說：So many persons, so many minds. (or Many men, many minds.)
［譯］人心不同，各如其面。

［注解］用于一個不在場而被談到的人突然來到。同類諺語還有：Talk of the devil and the devil appears.
